In June, I ordered “the world of apartamento” for a friend’s birthday. It’s one of those coffee table books you pick up because you’re bored but after seconds you already get lost in it. It’s full of amazingly chaotic apartments, the crème de la crème of the past ten years of apartamento magazine. The images feel real (of course, you never know if they are) and I think it’s the first interior magazine where I ever felt connected to the people and apartments that are portrayed. Why? Because I am a chaotic soul as well and once in a lifetime, I didn’t feel ashamed of it. That said, I bought the book for myself, hoping that it might give all of my guests the same relief.
