My boyfriend and I have been moving to Berlin almost two months ago now and our apartment still isn’t fully furnished. Mainly, it’s because of lack of time (and money, duh!) but I also promised myself to buy some more unique pieces this time which means: no Ikea. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with Ikea and we still have a lot of things from them at home but I kinda caught the “buying vintage furniture and decor” bug.
Since we have a bit more space than in our last apartment, I can finally have a little sitting area which I’ve always wanted. It’s just one of those things you begin to wish for when you’ve been living together for a while – every now and then, I just need some time and space for myself. So right now, I am looking at some pieces and inspirations to get an idea. Of course, I fell head over heels in love with the pieces by the danish label & tradition when they caught my eye during the Berlin press days but let’s be honest: The only thing I could afford right now would be a lamp.
